Editorial Policy

This page explains how calculator content is created, reviewed, sourced, updated, and corrected.

Last updated: May 13, 2026

Content Creation

Calculator pages are written to help readers understand what inputs mean, how results are produced, what assumptions are used, and what related calculators may be useful next.

Formula and Source Standards

Formula-based pages should use established formulas, documented conversion factors, or authoritative references whenever possible. For finance and health topics, preferred sources include official, academic, government, standards-body, and primary references.

Formula handling and rounding are documented in the calculator methodology.

Updates and Corrections

Pages should be reviewed when formulas, assumptions, calculator behavior, or cited source standards change. Substantive updates should be reflected in the page content and implementation notes.

Report possible errors through the contact page.

Credentials and Claims

Greatest Calculators does not display fake reviewers, fake expert credentials, fake testimonials, or unverifiable claims. Reviewer names and credentials should appear only when they are real and approved for publication.
